I hate to disagree with our English cousins, but Scotland is a major exporter of oil, and we have the highest oil prices in Europe, so I know how you Canadians feel, larger neighbour next door, your the exporter, yet your paying more for your energy costs than the USA.
I sold my car one year ago, bought myself a bike, and have saved thousands, soon only the Rich or drug dealers will be able to afford cars, and where I live they are both, still the majority.
Only downside, wife and daughter get all the money saved, I still look like a scarecrow, even though we are(THEY ARE) fairly affluent, IM still a tramp,any saved money goes on private tuition, and the make up counter at MAC, and her and the bloody daughter.

Back on topic, If the supreme being, backed the construction of the Ark and as we have seen the Ark could have been a viable craft,who are we to deny it ? Its not like its the man made BS from the WTS,I am not trying to be obstinate, or to play devils advocate. Infact the only point that has had any impact on my thinking has been made byUNSHACKLED, NO means of propulsion, and I am not even sure thats a clincher either.
Can i take this oppertunity to thank EVERYONE for there contribution here on this topic, It was only 6 weeks ago that i discovered WTS was a sham, and to Justinfrombethel,beeig educated is why I am here, if not Id be at KH beeing spoonfed shit

@ mindseye, Earlier in the thread, I made the exact same point of the possibiliy of a Local delege, that had a catastrophic effect, this would then not nessesitate housing the countless millions of creatures alluded to by Sizemic. After all the purpose of the flood was primarily wipe out mankind, who at that time according to the bible, spoke one language and lived in a small geograghical area.As I suggested earlier, ther was no need for Noah to go to Aus to get kangaroos, or the Americas to get buffalo ect, this was simply not nessesary, because the creatures in these areas would not need to be touched by any flood because humanity at that time was restricted to one small area in the middle east, and since all humanity lived in a small area, only that area and the creatures within would be subject to a deluge,consequently, many fewer creatures were at risk, so fewer needed to be housed in the Ark, so the Ark really could have housed the creatures at risk in that area of deluge, and it was a viable craft built along optimum dimensions.

I have faith in the laws of Physics, and stress mechanics and the scienfiic method, no other beliefs preclude me from having a view on wheather the Ark existed or not, scientifically it could have existed,it would have been a viable vessel if built along the lines outlined in the bible,thats just my belief, what other people chose to believe is up to them

Anyway, getting back on topic,In 1993, naval achitects and structional engineers from the world class KRISPO research facility in Korea, concluded that the Arks proportions were near optimal, they further cocluded that the ratio of the Ark(30 by 5 by 3) turns out to be the perfect design to prevent capsizing in rough seas.
The size of the Ark, would also have enabled an est 40,000 air breathing animals could be housed on one of the three decks, leaving the other two decks for foodstuffs ect.
Another intristing point I found doing reasearch,was that Chinese treasure junks, some even bigger than the Ark and also made of wood were built in the 15th century, with similar dimensions to the Ark.
I just dont think we have enough evidence to rule the Ark as myth, easpecially, as this project would have the backing of Jehovah
